North Catholic has a long tradition of rowing. The team was started in 1991 and we have proven to be one of the most competitive teams in the United States in the many years since!
99.9% of the students that row at North Catholic have never rowed before.

The Lambert Boathouse is located on Washington’s Island (formerly known as Herr’s Island) just off of Rt. 28 and under the 31st Bridge. The boathouse, located on the Allegheny River, contains a lounge, weight room, large training room with ergometers (rowing machines), locker rooms and storage bays holding rowing shells and kayaks.
